Obituary for Patricia L. Knollenberg

In loving memory of our sister and aunt, Patricia L. Knollenberg, 74, of Mattoon, Illinois who passed away on Monday January 15, 2018 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center. A native of Mattoon, she was born on July 6, 1943, the daughter of William H. Knollenberg and Helen E. (Kastl) Knollenberg.
Patricia is survived by sisters Elizabeth, Rose and Jane, and brothers, Joe, John, Robert, Walt, Richard and Daniel. Patricia is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill and sisters Mary and Dorothy.
Patricia attended and graduated from Humboldt Grade School and Mattoon High School. She worked primarily assisting in local nursing homes in Mattoon and Charleston. She was extremely fond of music and sports especially the St. Louis Cardinals for which she was known as a statistical expert.
Memorial services honoring her life will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 with a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be at the Calvary Cemetery following the Mass. Visitation Services will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Church. Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family.
