CYNTHIA CLAYTON

Cynthia Marie Clayton, age 60, of Mattoon passed away at 3:10 p.m. on April 6, 2018 at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, MO.
A memorial service honoring her life will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10, at Schilling Funeral. Burial will take place at a later date. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 until time of service. Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Cynthia was born on May 25, 1957 in Mattoon the daughter of Jack M. and DeEtta (Hildebrand) Clayton.
Survivors include her son, Michael Crenshaw, Bishop Crenshaw, Boston Crenshaw; brother, Dan Clayton; niece, Elizabeth Clayton; nephew, Seth Daniel Clayton; niece, Christine Clayton; grandniece, Auryanna Vergara; Grandnephew, Ronin Vergara. She was preceded in death by her parents and her partner, Cheryl Crenshaw.
Cynthia was a gifted musician and played drums in a number of bands including Benji and The Bee-Bops. Most of all Cynthia loved her partner and her family very much. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
